Shirin Lamp
Shirin grew up in Northern Minnesota and studied to become a Registered Nurse. She served for 28 years, primarily in Emergency and Rural Hospital Nursing. Married for 34 years, she and Kevin have six children and eleven grandchildren, all homeschooled.
In 1999, they relocated to Yaak, Montana, where they remain deeply rooted to this day. A lifelong passion for missions and humanitarian efforts has shaped Shirin’s drive for excellence. This same passion fuels her career in real estate, where she has excelled as a Licensed Montana Real Estate Broker and, most recently, a Licensed Designated Idaho Broker.
She is enriched by time with her family, friends, and outdoor activities throughout the seasons—especially anything involving water. Detail-oriented and creative, she enjoys writing listings, crafting offers, and perfecting well-written documents. Shirin also has a deep love for the land and people she represents. She is well known for her energy, passion, and top-producing results, and is grateful for the mentorship of a 40-year broker. Shirin is also the founder of Yaak’s Real Estate Outpost LLC.
Kevin Lamp
Kevin spent his earlier days earning an aviation license (private pilot with instrument rating) and later obtained an aviation mechanics license (Airframe and Power Plant). He also founded and operated a Wildland Firefighting Company, managing it for several fire seasons. In addition, Kevin owned and operated a mechanic shop in Yaak for many years.
He has an incredible mind for engineering, mechanics, and anything technical. His hobbies include hunting, 4-wheeling, off-road adventures, and snow wheeling. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren.
These days, Kevin stays busy as an independent realtor while also assisting Shirin with her real estate transactions. He manages storage units, does some property management, and has spent the last several summers helping his son, Kaleb (a local contractor), with building projects. Kevin is a quiet, intellectual person who brings a wealth of knowledge, technical skill, and a long-standing reputation in the area.
Together, Kevin and Shirin are an unbeatable team. They are the highest-producing agents in Yaak, Montana, and the only licensed agents residing full-time in the area. No other real estate professionals know the Yaak better than this team!
