The Yaak is remote and has very limited services, so guests should arrive prepared with food, fuel, and other supplies. There is no cell service throughout much of the area, although the cottage offers Wi-Fi. A vehicle is necessary for getting to and around the Yaak; four-wheel drive is generally not required, but good tires are strongly recommended during winter conditions.
